Lymph Nodes and Toxins (Debris)

In brief, lymph nodes act as purification centers.  They break down and destroy waste particles (aka toxins/debris) so that they can be flushed out of the body through organs of elimination; digestive, urinary, lungs, and in this case, the SKIN!

Treatment usually begins with a client in the prone position, unclothed and appropriately covered under a sheet and blanket.  Two towels are used for potential lymphatic drainage absorption; one under the top quarter of the body and the other draped behind the neck.  Each session is customized to the client's individual needs; based on symptoms, complaints, family history, visual, and tactual information.

Results may vary.  Some people drain visibly dark fluid as seen below and others, in light.  Not everybody requires or is ready to drain.  However, the benefits from the massage are endless.
